DVDFab Decrypter is an all-in-one tool used for ripping, decrypting, and burning DVD software. It's a powerful tool that only takes up about 1.3MB of hard drive space, making it much more compact than other programs with similar functions. Many current DVDFab users claim that this program is also faster than others, and can get recordings even from discs with tough encryptions in place.

Using DVDFab is easy, too. In just one or two steps, users can decrypt DVD protection put on the disc by manufacturers and rip data. There are five methods of copying DVDs available in DVDFab, which affect various factors such as how much of the DVD is copied and in what way.

Full Disc Mode copies everything onto a new disc, including the full movie, menus, and trailers. Main Movie Mode copies only the movie with audio. Split Mode allows users to copy a DVD-9 onto two DVD-5 discs, but preserves the original menus on both discs. This is the best feature for copying television series onto the user's own DVDs. The Clone Mode allows users to make exact 1:1 copies of DVD game discs, such as those implemented by PlayStation 2. The last mode is a customization mode, which allows users to select only the scenes or audio tracks they want while allowing the easy removal of adverts for more customized discs.

An additional DVD to Mobile Option exists, allowing users to watch their favorite films on handheld devices.
